Philadelphia Attractions

As America’s first real city, Philadelphia is home to our country’s premier national historical sites that relate to our founding. Centered in Independence National Historical Park, Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the Liberty Bell are the city's most famous Philadelphia attractions. Other historic sites include homes for Edgar Allan Poe and Betsy Ross, as well as some of our most famous early government buildings like the First and Second Banks of the United States, Fort Mifflin, and the Gloria Dei Church.
